ARTIST STATEMENT

For as long as I can remember, I have created objects and imbued them with meaning. I work in many mediums and techniques which include clay, paint, repurposed materials, photographs, fabric, historical remnants and encaustic wax.

 

These materials, given new life as three dimensional objects or re-contextualized digital paintings, draw inspiration from both the physical world and sensory experience.

 

 

Studio life is limitless and full of possibilities. Making art is a sacred process which engages mind, hands and heart.
